Hey! The delink glitch doesn't stays still, but this method is so quick to do, that it's still relatively painless. Hopefully this is a small way to hold over until a true method to keep it comes around!
List of steps:
Intro (0:00)
Step 1 (0:36)
Equip a set to your primary character you want to delink, and equip another linked set on a secondary character.
Step 2 (0:54)
Go to the store and go to your secondary character. If you want just one piece delinked, equip a default piece on your secondary character in one of the other two slots other than the one you want delinked on your primary character. For example: If you want to delink the torso on the primary character, equip a default piece on your secondary character to the head/leg slot to reset it to default.
Step 3 (1:15)
Go back to your primary character and go to the section you want to delink. Equip a default piece to this section. Go to a different section and select the set you want to mix in. Preview this by selecting it. Return to the section you want to delink and equip another piece to complete the delink.
Step 4 (1:33)
Remember, sets are reset to default upon entering or exiting a match lobby. To avoid this, queue up as a different character. Once you are in the match lobby, you may now switch back to your delinked character and play the match.
Bonus 1 (1:55)
If you only want one piece of a linked set, it's slightly different. On your secondary character, equip the piece to the same section you want to steal on your primary character. Then, return to your primary character, and equip a default piece to each area OTHER THAN the section you want to mix. Then go to the section you want to put a linked piece on, preview the piece you want by selecting it. Go back another section and equip another default piece to equip it.

This is also possible on killer. All steps are the same. Although it cannot be used in match because killers cannot be switched in the lobby
