Before you deposit your check, you need to properly endorse it. Sign the back of the check and write "For PNC Mobile Deposit Only" directly underneath your signature. This endorsement is required to ensure the check is only used for mobile deposit purposes.
Next, choose the PNC account into which you'd like to deposit the check. Then, enter the check amount as written on the physical check. After confirming these details, the app will prompt you to take photos of both sides of the check.
Using your phone's camera, first take a clear and well-lit image of the front of the check. Ensure all four corners are visible and the text is in focus.
