Step 1. Tap to open the "Settings" app on your Android device, and then tap "Apps" in this menu.

Step 2. Scroll down to the General section, and then tap "Default Apps."

Step 3. Tap "Digital Assistant App." The next screen shows you options associated with your chosen digital assistant app.

Step 4. Tap "Default Digital Assistant App." The next screen lets you choose which digital assistant app you want to use.

Step 5. Tap "None." The digital assistant will be disabled on your Android device going forward.
