Video Transcript:
Step 1. Navigate to the screen or application that you want to start your screen recording on, and then swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Control Panel.

Step 2. Hold your finger against the "Screen Recording" icon until a menu opens.

Step 3. Tap the "Microphone" button if it's red to toggle it be gray and say "Microphone Off." You can now start your screen recording session on your iPhone or iPad, and the microphone will be turned off.
