How to Display Remaining Battery Time in Windows 11 and 10

Keeping track of how much charge remains in your laptop battery is easy. By default, hovering over the battery icon in the System Tray displays an estimate of battery time remaining, along with a percentage. Occasionally, the time estimate goes missing, leaving you to work out how much usage time you have left by percentage alone.

Issues addressed in this tutorial:
laptop not showing battery time remaining
windows 10 battery not showing time remaining
battery life not showing on laptop
display battery time remaining windows 10
windows 11 battery time remaining not showing
hp laptop not showing battery icon
show time remaining on battery windows 11
show battery time remaining windows 11
how to display battery time remaining in windows 10
windows battery not showing time remaining
windows 10 not showing battery time remaining

If you want to see the remaining battery life on your computer in hours (instead of percentage), you can find the steps to Enable or Show Remaining battery Time in Windows 11 and Windows 10.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Alienware, Razer, MSI, Huawei , Microsoft Surface, and Samsung.
