What is a Smash Machinima? It is a Fan created content. It can either be a picture, video, ect (you can also see it as a Fanart). It can also serve for many purposes, mine are to improve my editing skills and to pay homage to the creators. I want to make something great with their contents because i feel i have to due-to their excellent work and i want to transform their greatness with my own to show my gratitude (i hope that last line made sense xd).


I will explain you (in this video and in the description with the best of my abilities) how to create a Super Smash Bros Machinima.


1. You need a Capture Card.


What is a capture card? Basically, it is a small device that will record anything you want in your television. I bought mine for a 100 bucks (no, i'm not rich xD). The one that i bought for 100$ records flawlessly and it's been 2 years since I have it. Elikliv is the name of my Capture Card (weird name but it does the job xd) Plus, all the videos that i have recorded in my channel were with that one (Walkthroughs and Machinimas included). I bought the Elikliv because i was on a budget and most of the popular Capture cards were around 200$ (Elgato, i'm looking right at you).


2. You need an Editing Software.


You can get a good one for around 80$ (check carefully before paying one because some don't have a lot of special effects and transitions).
You need one because you will want to modify your videos (you can't do much with the in-game Smash Bros video modifier. With an Editing Software, you can put more colors, CRAZY transitions, zoom, slow-mo and MUCH more😄). It is so FUN when you learn how to manipulate an editing software. You can make some crazy videos when you master one (Go see my Smash Machinimas to witness my progress since my first Machinima video ever made XD).


3. Plan your Machinima.


Do you want something fast and simple or something CRAZY?
Crazy machinimas will take you a LOT of time and persistence. If you want your videos to be beautiful to look at, you'll have to put the required time and work. THE MOST IMPORTANT IS TO DO WHAT YOU REALLY LIKE. There are a large amount of tools you can execute in SSBU that can make your videos look like a movie. You'll just have to find them. Be creative! :)
