About this video: This video shows you exactly how to play Crazy Craft Updated in Minecraft. This modpack is an updated version of Crazy Craft with the goal of capturing the original Crazy Craft experience while updating things and making them fresh. There are new biomes, structures, creatures, dimensions, and more. It truly is amazing all that Crazy Craft Updated adds to Minecraft. So, here is how to download and install Crazy Craft in Minecraft!
Crazy Craft Updated can be installed using the CurseForge Launcher. That means we will need to get that setup first. In the description above, you will find a link to download CurseForge. That will take you to our complete text tutorial on getting CurseForge alongside a video guide covering everything you need to know about CurseForge.
On this page, click the “Download CurseForge” button to go to CurseForge’s official download page. From there, click the “Download Standalone” button, and the CurseForge installer will start downloading.
Open the CurseForge Installer and go through it just like installing any other program. Click Next a few times and agree to the CurseForge Terms of Service if you agree to them.
Finally, you will be able to open the CurseForge App. In the CurseForge App, click on “Minecraft” and click “Continue/Install” to get things ready for Minecraft modpacks like Crazy Craft Updated.
Once things are ready, you will land on your My Modpacks tab. At the top, there will be a search bar. Click this and search for “Crazy Craft Updated”. The Crazy Craft modpack will appear. Click the “Install” button on it, and Crazy Craft Updated will begin installing.
You can navigate back to the “My Modpacks” tab to watch things install. It is worth noting that Crazy Craft may need more RAM. To add this, click on Settings in the bottom left and then Minecraft. Scroll down to the very bottom and find “Allocated Memory” this is the amount of RAM dedicated to the modpacks you have in CurseForge. For Crazy Craft, we recommend 6,000MB to 8,000MB of RAM. However, more can be sometimes needed.
After you have Crazy Craft Updated installed, hover over it in the My Modpacks tab and click on the “Play” button. The Minecraft Launcher will then open. You will need to login to Minecraft, and that is complete safe to do as this is the Minecraft Launcher you normally use just launched through CurseForge.
In the Minecraft Launcher, select “Minecraft Java Edition” on the left-hand side and then click the green “Play” button. Click “Play” again, and Crazy Craft Updated will now open in Minecraft.
You can now join a server that has Crazy Craft installed on it or play Crazy Craft in singleplayer all in a newer, updated version of Minecraft.
