In this beginners guide tutorial I show you how to change and edit the new player fresh spawn loadouts on your DayZ Community Server For PC, PlayStation & Xbox Console - using a Nitrado Server for some of the examples in this video.
By editing our serverdz.cfg & cfggameplay.json server files, and by using the free download of json files from my Github or Mega, you'll then easily be able to have your players spawn in with either a Russian AKM based gear-set, or a Nato DMR (M14) based load-out, complete with ammo, meds, GPS, compass, grenades and other loot.
The players uniforms will vary along Russian & Nato lines, and I also explain and show you how to customize the load-out files so that you can understand how to tailor them to the needs of your server and any special events you might want to run, changing the guns, clothes, loot and the rest of the gear.
These free download military themed load-outs are perfect for Death Match & RP servers, where players want to spend a minimal amount of time looting (if at all) before getting into the shooting action!
