How to Find and Complete Timed Quest: FISHING - Final Fantasy XV [ps4 720p60]
Fishing Timed Quest! This time you have to hunt... FISH.
That's right it's a fishing Timed Quest. But there's more! Now we get leaderboards and quest points and all kinds of new features to the timed quests to make the fishing ALMOST interesting. Still, I like where these are going.
FIshing (Total Caught) Contest Round 1
Target: Any Fish
Restrictions: No
Active: Chapter 1 Onward
Bounty:
Prize Exchange - 50 QP
Fishing (Total Caught) Contest Round 1 - 50 QP
Also took a look at how to use the new leaderboard titles available to me in the Timed Quest section. I went with "Gillionaire" for now. Why not? There were tons to choose from tho. Then we learned how to look up the rules and requirements of the new timed quest format.
Then it was time to get fishing. I found a nearby fishing spot and it seems that the timed quest can be activated from any location on the map that you want. Rounds start every hour, the highest score from each hour wins that round. Check out the leaderboard for further score breakdowns.
I caught a few and ended the hour I started in with a score of 9. Rankings didn't show up on the leaderboard by the time I ended the stream but I'm sure they're quite low. Highest score when I was on was 166.
What do you think of the new timed quest format? Are you going to try to get enough quest points for the Afrosword? Let me know in the comments.

Final Fantasy XV is an open world action role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home consoles. The game released worldwide in November 2016, and is the fifteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The game features an open-world environment and action-based battle system similar to the Kingdom Hearts series and Final Fantasy Type-0, incorporating the ability to switch weapons and other elements such as vehicle travel and camping.
Final Fantasy XV takes place on the fictional world of Eos. All the world's countries—bar the kingdom of Lucis—are under the dominion of the empire of Niflheim. Noctis Lucis Caelum, heir to the Lucian throne, goes on a quest to retake his homeland and its magical crystal after it is seized by Niflheim on the eve of peace negotiations between the two nations. The game shares a thematic connection with Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy, a subseries of games linked by a common mythos which includes Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Type-0.
The development cycle of Final Fantasy XV began in 2006, when it was a PlayStation 3-exclusive spin-off titled Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and lasted approximately ten years. Tetsuya Nomura served as the original director and character designer, creating the characters and original concept. In 2012, it was internally rebranded as the next mainline title and shifted to eighth generation platforms. Nomura was eventually replaced as director by Hajime Tabata. To expand the story without developing additional video games, a multimedia project called the "Final Fantasy XV Universe" was created: its products included an anime series, a feature film, and future virtual reality-based downloadable content.
