3To find and play your non-Steam games on your Steam Deck, follow these steps:
Switch to Desktop Mode:
Press the Steam button to open the quick menu.
Navigate to “Power” and select “Switch to Desktop.”
Add the Game to Steam:
Open the Steam application in Desktop Mode.
Go to the top menu, click on “Games,” and select “Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library.”
Browse and select the executable file (.exe) of the game you want to add.
Click “Add Selected Programs.”
Enable Compatibility Mode (if needed):
Right-click the added game in your Steam library.
Select “Properties,” then go to the “Compatibility” tab.
Check “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool” and choose a Proton version.
Return to Gaming Mode:
Close the Steam application.
