How to fix AirPods Pro crackling clicking popping noise

People has been experiencing popping and crackling noise when using their AirPods Pro. Sometimes it happens when the noise cancellation is glitching and you may notice it happening on either your left or right AirPod. Apple support suggested done a full disconnect and re-pairing sequence with my phone as a first time troubleshooting step. In most cases, this will solve the issue. Make sure the firmware is up to date.

1. Put the AirPods back in the charging case and then reset the AirPods Pro by pressing the button behind the charging case for 15 seconds.

2. Unsync / Unpair the AirPods Pro from your iPhone's Bluetooth. Go to settings, bluetooth, click AirPods Pro, then click Forget this device.

3. Wait for 30 seconds or more before you open the AirPods Pro case. Open the case next to your iPhone until the Air Pods animation show up in your phone screen.

4. Sync the AirPods Pro by pressing the button behind the charging case for 15 seconds while the AirPods open indicator animation in your iPhone is visible.

5. When sync is complete, try it again and hope it fixes the popping noise.

6. Enjoy!

- If this doesn't fix your issue, contact Apple Support. They will replace your broken AirPods Pro for free if it's still under the warranty.
