In this beginners guide tutorial video I go through some best practices to follow when using the DayZ Editor Mod on your PC - namely only ever load the mod for the particular map you're working on, no more.
So if you're working on Chernarus or Livonia, you should only load DayZ Editor & it's dependencies, nothing else.
If you were working on the Namalsk Map, just load Namalsk Island, not Survival.
Many thanks to Waterfield Gaming who told me that to avoid problems when editing the Deer Isle Map, you should load the Deer Isle Core map mod, not the normal one:
