If you're thinking about getting into hand-held PC gaming, the Steam Deck OLED is often touted as the leader of the pack, but the Linux based Steam OS that it uses has some drawbacks compared to the Windows 11 used by the ASUS Rog Ally.
Of course having an OS that has been designed to work with one piece of hardware means that the Steam Deck will get more performance and battery life out of it's resources, but it is important to note the limitations that has too.
