If you've got the problem where you install a modded map to your DayZ PC Nitrado Custom Community Server correctly, but you have the problem where it keeps changing back to the vanilla maps, the fix is probably to ensure that Expert Mode is enabled in General Settings.
Once you have ticked Expert Mode, saved and restarted your server, you can then access & edit your serverDZ.cfg via the "Expert Settings" menu tab, stop the server, change the mission template, save, then restart your server.
You should then find that the serverDz.cfg files stays with Namalsk, Bitteroot, Alteria, Banov, Takistan, or whatever custom mod map you've chosen, and as long as you've done all the other steps correctly, you'll be able to load into that map.
Please note that when you enable Expert Mode, check the other settings in the serverDZ.cfg too, such as server name, password, time multiplier, cfggameplay enabled, etc.
This fix should work for server owners who have previously tried to use the Mission drop-down box in base settings, or who have tried to edit the serverDZ.cfg file directly in the file browser, downloading it to a local PC, or using FTP to access the file.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.25, Aug 2024.
Thanks, Rob.
