1) Open your default contacts app
2) Tap on the three lines on the top left
3) Look for Manage Contacts (may differ)
4) Now tap on Merge Contacts
5) This will automatically detect the duplicate contacts
6) Tap on the Merge button to remove the duplicate contacts
7) Or open the Play Store
8) Download Google contacts
9) Look for the Fix and Merge option
10) This way, you can fix the merge contacts problem on Android devices.
