How To Fix DayZ 1.26 Experimental Local & Remote Server Not Starting / Crashing By Setting Shard ID
To get your local or remote experimental 1.26 update remote community or local DayZ PC Server working, you need to add this list to your serverDZ.cfg file:
shardId = 111;
(Any number above 99, 0-99 are reserved for official servers.)
With the latest experimental update to DayZ Servers, update patch 1.26, you now need to the Shard ID of your local PC or remote Server, inside your serverDZ.cfg files ,otherwise it will not start or will crash.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Exp Update Patch 1.26, Aug 2024.
Thanks, Rob.
