This video will show you how to fix this issue: your HP G62 laptop always boots to the System Information screen and you cannot progress past this screen, you cannot load your operating system and you can not enter into your BIOS. You are prompted to Press Esc to continue , but pressing the ESC key either does nothing or brings you to a black screen with a constant beeping loop. By connecting a USB keyboard to your HP G62, you will be able to press ESC on the USB keyboard to continue. Important to note: once the USB keyboard is connected to the HP G62, do not use the HP G62's onboard keyboard and rather only use the USB keyboard to navigate through. If, when booting, instead of seeing 'F1 System Information' in the lower left of the screen, you instead see 'Press the ESC key for startup menu', by pressing the ESC key within this time, you will be brought to the Startup Menu screen which gives you access to System Information, System Diagnostic, Boot Device Options, BIOS Setup and System Recovery.
