Hello guys, I wanted to do a how to a tutorial on how to fix Minecraft to update for those with AVG have trouble updating it.

First go to your AVG.

Second go to the tab that says tools and click on advanced settings.

Then look for "Temporarily disable AVG protection."

Check the box to disable it and click apply.

-SKIP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU HAVE MINECRAFT.EXE IN YOUR DESKTOP!-
Now open up your browser and type in minecraft.net or minecraft on your search bar.

Download minecraft, you may want to make sure that you are login first before you download it. I already log in!

When it finished downloading, you can put minecraft where you like it to be. My Minecraft is already downloaded and placed in my desktop.

Now open up minecraft.

Now click login.

after that it will ask you "do you want to update now" click yes and then you see that minecraft is fully updating.

Minecraft is now fixed and I would recommend that you can uninstall AVG so you can prevent these problems if you install mods for the game or if there is a new version.
