This is a tutorial how to fix Skype fatal error Kernel32.dll. The Skype message that pops up, when updating or installing is: "Failed to Get Proc Address for GetLogicalProcessorInformation (Kernel32.dll)". This tutorial shows how to fix this Kernel32.dll error. It explains three possible solutions to this problem. Firstly, you can upgrade your windows to service pack 3 (SP3) and try installing Skype again. If you will have upgraded successfully, you should be able to install the latest version of Skype without any problems.
The second solution is to install any Windows that is later than Windows XP. This means that you could for example install Windows 7 and you should be able to install the latest version of Skype without any difficulties.
The third solution to this problem and probably the easiest one is to install an older version of Skype. Try installing any older version of Skype before 6.
