How To Fix Software Update Failed|The update could not be installed error in Mozilla firefox.

I get the following error message while try to update my mozilla firefox-nightly browser:

Software Update Failed


The update could not be installed.Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer,and then restart Firefox to try again.

This error solution is common for windows 7,windows 8,windows 8.1,windows 10 also may be mac.




Solution 1:

1.Goto firefox-settings.

2.Select "about firefox".

3.Now again click "restart or update" option.

4.Finally the error is fixed.


Solution 2:

1.Goto "Task manager"

2.Select "Firefox" and then click "End user" option.

3.Now again try to access your mozilla firefox the problem is solved.
