1.Goto whatsapp official website.

2.Download latest version of whatsapp.

1.Goto whatsapp-settings-chats.

2.Now backup your chats to google drive.

3.Uninstall the existing whatsapp and again reinstall it.

4.Now click backup option and the messages are restored.

5.Finally the problem is fixed.
