If you are experiencing this mp3 audio glitch in Sony Vegas Pro, the best solution is to reset the app.

Close the app first and then before you double click on the app, hold Shift+Ctrl before opening the app.

You will see a notification "Do you want to reset all VEGAS Pro preferences to default values?".

Check the box next to "Delete all cached application data." and then click Yes.

The MP3 audio glitch should be fixed now.
