In this quick how to I show you how to fix an issue where your Steam icons on your desktop stop showing the right picture. We use two methods in this video. The first is to right click on the game in your steam library, to go properties - local files and select 'validate local files'. This method is more user friendly but is slow and sometimes doesn't work at all. Method two is right clicking the icon on desktop, going to properties, change icon, browse. Then go to where steam is installed and in the steam folder is a folder called games. This will have all your icons. You will then need to manually find and select the right icon.
