Step 1) Rename/Delete the file sl.pcl.dll file, create a backup first

Step 3) Try different Windows power plans, try high/balanced/power saver and check which is working fine for you
Step 4) If using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, lower down performance core ratio to 56x/55x
Step 5) Run the game from the game installation folder, try running as an administrator, disable full screen optimization, try compatibility mode.
Step 6) Verify the game files
Step 7) Do not overclock (set it to default), close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay)
Step 8) Rename the save game files, create a backup first (Save game progress will be lost)
Step 9) Perform a clean installation of graphics driver.

Step 15) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
