5How to fix Unfortunately a serious error has occurred and VLC had to close-the location file cannot be played android-vlc media player error.
I get the following error message/notification while try to play the music via vlc player in my android:
Unfortunately,a serious error has occurred and VLC had to close.
RESTART VLC
The location file cannot be played.
This error solution is also common for android,tablets,bluestacks and the android versions are kitkat,lollipop,marsh mallow.
Some error occurred devices are samsung,sony xperia,asus,black berry,micromax,lenovo,htc,panasonic,one plus one,gionee,redmi,honour,oppo,vivo,yureka,moto,nexus,pixel and may be iphone also.
Solution:
1.First remove minimized vlc player app.
2.Then goto settings-apps-all-vlc player.
3.Click "Move to SD card" option then also click"Clear cache" option only.
4.Finally once restart/reboot your android the problem is solved.
