Whether you're looking to fix the orientation of a selfie or creatively adjust your photo’s layout, flipping an image is a simple yet effective tool. It's quick, easy, and can give your photos a fresh perspective with just a few taps.
Now let's walk through the steps to flip a photo in Google Photos on your Android device.
Step 1. Open the photo in Google Photos on your Android device that you want to flip.
Step 2. Tap the screen to display menu options.
Step 3. Tap the vertical ellipses at the top of the screen. A menu opens.
Step 4. Tap the icon that looks like the crop symbol with rotating arrows moving around it. Associated options are displayed.
Step 5. Tap "Rotate" in this menu. The image will rotate forty-five degrees to the left. Continue tapping "Rotate" until you get the image positioned exactly how you want it, and then click "Save Copy." A copy of your flipped photo will be saved to Google Photos on your Android device.
