You can use this feature to hide ads, pop-ups, or extra elements displayed on mobile websites that make it difficult for you to focus.
Step 1. Open the website in Safari on your iPhone or iPad that contains the distracting item that you want to hide. In this example, I'm on the CNBC website, and there's a paid post I want to prevent from being displayed.
Step 2. Tap the "Page Menu" button displayed on the left side of the address bar. A menu is displayed.
Step 3. Tap "Hide Distracting Items." You'll then be prompted to tap the item you want to hide on the screen.
Step 4. Tap the item you want to hide to select it, and then tap "Hide." That item will be hidden and not displayed going forward.
