How to Get 3 Button Menu Back on Android
55In this video, I'm going to show you how to change gestures to the three button navigation on Android. So if you notice at the moment on my phone, I'm using the gestures setting, which means that if I want to go back or open up my recent apps, I'm using a swipe gesture on my phone.
Now, if you want to change that to the old three button system, I'll show you how to do that now. The first thing that you want to do is go into the main settings, On your Android phone. Now in here, we can go through multiple settings, to get to where we need to go to.
However, I'm going to use the quick way. And use the search bar at the top and tap in gestures. And as you can see, there is a specific system setting for gestures. So, tap into this, Once you do that, you will then see the gestures setting highlighted. Tap into this.
Now we have a number of different gestures that we can use on our phone. But for this tutorial purpose, We need to go into the system navigation setting. So tap into here, as you can see, here, we are selected on the gesture navigation. And we do have a settings button beside that I'm going to tap into that and show you exactly what that does.
We have an option to swipe to use the Google Assistant, and we can also adjust the left edge and right edge of the swipe and gesture. Now I'm not going to touch any of those, but I'm gonna go back and show you now how to change it to the three button navigation. So just under the gesture navigation, you can see three button, navigation. All you have to do is tap on this to Make it default. As your main system navigation, you can also go into the settings of this. The only option we have here is to hold the home button for the Google Assistant.
