You can easily get an Ascended Weapon by just playing the game, almost no difficult crafting is required. By completing Elite Specializations Collections you will get an unique Ascended Weapon that fits your profession. The weapons have a limited amount of stats but it's a great Ascended Weapon to start with! The Path of Fire Elite Specialization Collections are cheap to complete in contrast to the Heart of Thorns ones. The Path of Fire collection does not require a ton of Mystic Coins to complete.

Although the objectives are different for each profession, the process stays the same. You always have to complete a specific event, collect an item or do any other action.

I still had a number of these collections uncompleted so I decided to finish these before the End of Dragons expansion!
