How to Get Command Block in Minecraft
12In this tutorial I show you how to get a command block in Minecraft. You can get a command block using the “/give” command. This requires you to have cheats or commands enabled on your world. Unfortunately, you will have turned on cheats before starting your Minecraft world. If you don’t have cheats turned on then you can create a new Minecraft world with cheats enabled to ensure you can get the command block.
When using the give command to get the command block you will need to choose a person to give it to, typically, this will be your username. Additionally, you will have to choose to give yourself the command block. This can be done by typing command_block at the end. The full command to get a command block is “/give username command_block”.
After sending the command you will receive a command block in your inventory. You can place a command block by being in creative mode. Additionally, you will need to be in creative mode to be able to set up the command block for your purpose.
