To farm element dust in genesis 2 you first have to go to the space biome in the center of the map where the big relatively flat rocks are floating around the area
If these rocks are spawned in then you will be able to farm element dust in genesis 2, if they're not spawned in then you will need to wait until 1:30 in the morning on the next in-game day and then check to see if the flat rocks have spawned into your genesis 2 game. The resource in the ark genesis 2 space biome changes every night.
Once you see the flat asteroids spawned in you can fly down to the asteroids and you're going to see the element dust on the ground of the asteroids.
To get element dust in genesis 2 all you have to do is go up to the element dust you find on the asteroids and pick them up by hand. Every color of Ark element dust can be farmed in this way on genesis part 2.
