How to Get Extra Empty Bottles Method #2 (Glitch) - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
1Unlike the other method, this one works in the 3DS version. Not all of the items will turn into Empty Bottles. Some items get used as an Ocarina which you can see in the video linked below.
＊WARNING＊ Depending on what item you replace this can be permanent.
To perform this glitch, catch something in a bottle. While the bottle is still in Link's hand perform a backflip. With Link still in the air press the button of the non-empty bottle and then immediately press the button of the item you want to replace.
I'm not sure what determines if the item becomes a bottle or an ocarina and I've never been able to get more than (I think) 3 new bottles this way. I like the other method more, but there doesn't seem to be a choice for the 3DS version. Like with method #1, this glitch has the same restrictions on how these new bottles can be used.
