0Mutated Expeditions are an endgame activity that has you facing down expeditions once again. But this time, they have additional modifiers to increase the challenge inside for even bigger rewards. That's why Mutated Expeditions are more difficult and challenging versions of existing expeditions.
Each Mutation Expedition will have 10 difficulties, ranging from having only one set of mutations at level one, to having three sets of fully upgraded mutations at level 10. While there are 10 individual difficulties, these more or less simplify down to just four tiers. ✅Normal, ✅Intermediate, ✅Hard, ✅Elite.
As your mutation rate gets higher, Umbral Shard you get will get bigger. This is directly proportional to the strength of the boss that you must defeat.
