In this video I'll show you how to get some Purple Hyacinths in ANIMAL CROSSING NEW HORIZONS! We'll be using what I call the Clone Pair Method, and it will give you a 25% chance to grow Purple Hyacinths out of some Oranges and Blues in the end. Phase 1:
- Red + Yellow = Orange (50% chance)
- in pairs of 2x1, 1 space apart from other flowers

Phase 2:
- Orange + Orange
- in boxes of 2x2, 1 space apart
- put Oranges from Phase 1 into boxes of 4 and water them
- put any Oranges from Phase 2 into new boxes as well, keep building until you have enough (let's say 4 boxes of 2x2)
- save Blues for the next phase

Phase 3:
- Orange + Orange = normal Orange (25% chance), Super Orange (12,5% chance) & Super Blue (12,5% chance)
- take every new Orange & Blue coming from Phase 2 and isolate them in 3x1 land areas surrounded by tiles, designs on the ground, fencing or furniture
- mark the end tiles in the pockets with dark soil so you know what is the pair and what is the production tile
- water each flower, let them clone each other, then water the clone pairs
- 1 out of 2 Oranges will be a rare island Super Orange, which when cloned with itself has a 25% chance to create Purple Hyacinths
- every Blue (!) will be a rare island Super Blue, which when cloned with itself has a 25% chance to create Purple Hyacinths

- if your clone pairs make more Oranges and Blues, you can make new clone pairs out of them as well, just create more pockets!

Victory lap: When you finally get a Purple Hyacinth, put it by itself, water it, let it clone itself, and put the clone 1 space apart. Keep watering both, and they will both clone themselves. Repeat until you have as many Purples as you want!

Bonus tip 1:
- time travel helps immensely, just water your flowers, save & exit, shut the game down, move Switch date 1 day forward, open game, water flowers, save & exit, shut the game down, move the date etc.

Bonus tip 2:
- watering flowers yourself gives a 5% chance for the flowers to produce (days 1-3)
- after a flower has been watered 4 times, (flower not moved, doesn't have to be consecutive days), the chance to produce goes up by 5%
- so waterings 1-3 give you a 5% chance, 4th watering a 10% chance, 5th watering a 15% chance and so on
- flowers being moved or them producing resets the watering counter
- if a visitor waters your flowers, it adds 20% more to the flowers' production chances immediately!
- so if you want to boost your flower production, have 1 visitor water your flowers every day, or even more if you can (max is 5, gives a massive boost)
