Step 1. Right-click anywhere on your taskbar to open a menu.

Step 2. Click "Taskbar Settings" in that menu. The Settings screen opens and taskbar options are displayed.

Step 3. Navigate to the Taskbar Items section, and then click to turn off the toggle associated with "Search." The search icon will immediately be removed from your Windows 11 taskbar.
