How to get Smash Mods on 5.5.2

Had a request to make a tutorial video on how to get the mods to work on 5.5.2 of you didn't already have Haxchi installed prior to the update. I appoligize for the poor audio quality on my mic, I had to record this with the OBS and I have trouble with my webcam in that app. As I explain in the video you need to first download a Haxchi compatible game from the eshop, I used Brain Age so I can garentee that will work. next you need to download 2 files to put onto the SD card you have your mods loaded onto

First is the Haxchi install file you can download here:

Once you have it downloaded extract the archive file directly to your SD Card, it should put two folders on the root directory, one called haxchi and the other called wiiu.

Next you will need to download a boot file called boot.elf, you can download that here:

Once you download this file, place it directly into the root directory of the SD Card as well and place it into your Wii U.

Now when you load up your Wii U, boot up the internet explorer and go to sleepii.ovh. You will then need to click on the large "Exploit" link at the top of the page, it will then try to boot into the homebrew menu. It will most likely freeze a few times, if it does simply force your Wii U to shut down and try again. When it does work it will look as if it freezes for a moment anyway so always give it a minute before shutting it down but it will load to a white screen with the Wii U logo in the bottom corner, then it will display the Homebrew menu. from here you can click the SDcafine button and it will load your mods but if you want to make it easier in the future you should click on the Haxchi button to install the Haxchi app, it will install over the Brain age, or any other compatible game you choose to download. Once Haxchi is installed all you have to do is click on it from the Wii U home menu and it will bring you to the same screen as the sleepii exploit and you can run SDcafine and activate your mods, then all you need to do is just boot up Smash and enjoy.
