How To Get the Magus' Dreamreaper in the Dimensional Vortex [Chrono Trigger] (DS)
30Magus' Dreamreaper is his new strongest scythe in Chrono Trigger (DS). Coming in with an attack power of 180, it can only be found in a semi-hidden chest in the Dimensional Vortex (Present, AKA 1000 A.D.)
It deals 4X the normal damage on critical hits. Great when paired with other critical hit increasing equipment.
To get to this chest, you have to head over the the middle area of the Volcano "room". When you've made your way to the east side of the room, hug the middle of the wall while walking SW. You'll find a Strength Capsule near the lava. If you continue SE to the next area, you'll come up in a new area (fashioned after the Lost Sanctum peak), where the Dreamreaper will be waiting for you in a chest!
