How to Get to Sun Shrine Island - Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 100% Walkthrough
Upon arriving in Heliopolis there isn't really that much for you to do because of the Eyes of Ra. Follow the water to the right and you'll eventually run into Horus. He'll share some words of kindness and tell you that Imhotep is looking for you on Sun Shrine Island.
You can't follow Horus because you're not yet able to jump high enough to reach where he was. Instead, notice the 3 jars that are nearby. Break the jar closest to the wall and a Fire Armadillo will emerge. Lead the armadillo over to the wooden crate so that the armadillo sets it on fire. Once it's done burning, pick up the Eagle Stone that was inside.
Head back toward where the boat dropped you off and look for the circular platform in the sand. Stand on it and use the Eagle Stone. A Mummy Eagle will appear and carry you to an otherwise unreachable ledge. Climb up the nearby rope and run passed the large wooden structure with the boulder on top to find another circular platform like before. Call another Mummy Eagle and it will carry you to across the river.
Run down to the left and you'll notice a sign pointing to a blocked pathway. Keep going a little more and there'll be a jar in a little alcove in the wall. Break it and a Slim Burble will emerge. Lead the Burble over to the blocked pathway and encourage it to jump into the boulders; destroying them and allowing you access into the next area.
As soon as you enter this new area the Sun Shrine is straight ahead. Simply run/swim your way there and enter the building to find Imhotep.
