Mysterious Location Walkthrough - Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 100% Walkthrough
19Upon arriving in the Mysterious Location you'll want to take the path straight ahead as you're not yet able to go to the right.
Grab the cage and place it on the lowered platform. Climb up the ladder, jump on the swinging rope, and pull the lever on the other side. This will raise the cage up. Use the cage to reach the ledge and jump slash the 3 lantern looking things. A wall will move revealing a bust. Hit it with the blade to break it and grab the Glyph Key that appears.
Grab the cage again and throw it onto the other platform that lowered when you pulled the lever. Pull the lever once again to raise this 2nd platform. Use the cage to get up to the other ledge, jump slash the lanterns, and break the bust for a 2nd Glyph Key.
Drop down to the ground floor and walk to the pit. Place the 2 Glyph Keys in their appropriate places and ride the rope across the pit. Stand at the "head" of the thing with the 4 different colored discs then after being show the pattern stand on each color in the following order: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Green, Red.
Upon stepping on them in the correct order the gate blocking the doorway will begin to glow. Give it a whack with the blade then continue on.
In the next room there are 4 red things that you need to jump slash. Only the front 2 are low enough to reach from the ground, however. Hit the front 2 and then run over to the rope. Jump on it to make a cage fall to the ground. Use the cage to reach the other 2 red things. Once done, a couple ropes will be lowered in the previous room. Go back to that room then climb each rope and continue along until you reach the pull switch on both sides.
Pulling both switches will cause the spikes blocking your way to go down. With the way unblocked continue on and you'll see a cutscene showing Tut magically being mummified. Menes will sense your presence and send some enemies your way.
Sphinx will find himself in a square shaped room. Navigate the perimeter killing all of the Skeletal Axemen. Once all are dead a platform leading to a cabinet will extend. Open the cabinet to get the Shield of Osiris. Equip the shield and then go back to the very beginning of the Mysterious Location. The shield will allow you to take the path to the right that you couldn't before.
You may wish to kill the enemies before trying to pass the ray. Just before you're hit with the ray take out the shield to block it. In the next room you'll have to cut the rope and disrupt Menes' ceremony. Then jump down and kill the 3 Skull Worshippers to save Nefertiti.
Nefertiti will give you a Canopic Vase and a Portal Amulet that will take you to Abydos. Imhotep will appear and give you a Gold Ankh which increases your maximum health by 1. Go back up the rope to return to the starting area and then use the Abydos Amulet on the Portal God.
