After a brief introduction you'll find yourself in a rather desolate area called Uruk. What you should first do is take the upper area to the left and walk toward the lava river. Use the moving platforms to hop across. After Horus' words of encouragement grab the rock in front of you and throw it at the nearby tree to obtain a coconut. Pick up the coconut and then head back towards where you first started. In the lower area there are some more trees that have coconuts. Knock them down until you have a total of 3 coconuts.

With 3 coconuts in hand head over to the creature in the lava with his tongue hanging out. He'll try to eat you and then spit you out saying that he'd rather have some coconuts. Talk to him again to give him the 3 coconuts and he'll give you a boost up to where Horus was.

Once up there Horus will say he can't figure out how to get to the Blood of Ra. Pick up the nearby rock and hurl it toward the large flower to destroy all of them. Be careful as getting too close to them will cause them to explode (note: if you get too close to Horus while carrying a rock you'll get a slightly humorous response from him).

Stand in the glowing spot for a few seconds and your feet will start to glow. While like this you're able to walk on lava. Run up the lava river until you reach the end where there is a statue. Move the statue out of the way to allow the lava to flow in a new direction which causes the lava geysers to erupt.

Run back in the direction toward where you started and stand on the geyser to get launched up to a higher area (you may want to use the Spitting Toad to go back to the Blood of Ra first to reset how much time you have to walk on lava).

Use 2 more geysers until you're up to the highest area where there is an eye switch. So long as this guy can see you the path will be closed. Walk off the ledge to the right and land on the deck below. When the eye switch is looking the other way, quickly jump up and run through the gate. Continue through this area by throwing a rock at the 2nd eye switch to kill it.

At this point Horus will tell you to throw a rock at a hole in the wall. Do so and an explosive Slim Burble will emerge. Lure the Burbles over to the ropes holding the nearby boulder in place.The Burbles will jump into the ropes causing them to break. Once all of the ropes are severed the boulder will roll down and create something for you to jump on to reach the other side.

Save at the sacred statue and scale the wall with the Alert Spiders on it. Navigate through this cave while avoiding the red beams of light that shoot out from the eyes on the wall. Then climb the rope that's hanging outside of this cave.

Horus will point out the Blade of Osiris, but you can't reach it yet. Run into a nearby cave to find a statue that's blocking lava like before. Move the statue and some platforms leading up to the blade will appear. Horus will excitedly rush over to the sword, but will fall off the bridge instead. Cross the 1st bridge and take the path down to the zip line. Use it to cross the lava. Take the path up and then the floating platforms to reach the Blade of Osiris.

Imhotep will tell you of a portal amulet that you should get in order to leave Uruk Jump back down, kill the Skeletal Spider if it appears, and look for the little statue in front of a doorway blocked by some lasers. Break the statue by hitting it with the Blade of Osiris and the lasers will disappear. Use the Blood of Ra to cross the lava and climb the rope that you did before.

Enter into another cave before the bridges to find an eye switch. Hit the switch with the blade to kill it and continue on. You'll end up in another cave with a treasure chest containing a "Mysterious Amulet". Upon opening the chest you'll be attacked by 3 Spike Spiders. Kill them to continue on.

You'll be in an area with a large totem pole, called an Eye of Ra, that shoots a beam at you if you pass in front of it. Between this pole and the the cave you just exited is a Slim Burble den. Lure a Burble over to the pole and entice him to jump into it. The pole will crumble and you can move on.

You can either kill the Skeletal Spider that appears or you can run passed it. Jump onto the swinging rope and use it to reach the other side of the fence. Kill the eye switch if you wish (to make it a little easier to back track to the save spot if you should have to).

Keep moving forward until you reach a sort of open building with 4 red targets hanging above. Jump and slash each target (making them green) and a platform will appear to take you upwards.

Break the statue at the top to cause a bridge to appear then head over to the treasure chest. You'll be knocked into a building where Imhotep will tell you to use the "Mysterious Amulet" you found earlier to transport out of Uruk and to a "Mysterious Location".
