[How To] Github's Client: Creating a Repository (Issues with names and locations)
0I had issues figuring out how to operate the not-so-user friendly github client.
Step 1: Select the folder containing the folder with your code
Step 2: Set repository name to the folder of your code and click Create
Step 3: Click on the Changes tab at the mid top and make sure you files are there and nothing outside of your repository folder should be in the change log. If it's correct, give the commit a name and confirm it below. A description in the description box is not required
Step 4: Top right grey button, click "Publish" and wait. Check your files at your github page, and if they for some reason didn't pop up there, confirm that you actually pushed the files in the "changes" tab (it should show nothing or just the files you deselected for the push) and click the sync button (or publish, if that's what it still says)
Step 5: Profit?!?
