0If you're looking to hide your followers and following list on Instagram, it's important to understand that Instagram doesn’t provide a direct setting to completely hide these lists from everyone. However, there is a workaround that limits who can see your followers and following list—by setting your account to private.
When your account is private, only people you approve as followers can see your full profile details, including your followers and who you follow. Anyone who doesn’t follow you—or whose follow request you haven’t accepted—will not be able to access these lists. This is the only effective method currently available on Instagram to restrict access to your followers/following information.
To do this, open the Instagram app and go to your profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom-right corner. Then, tap the three-line (menu) icon in the top-right corner and select "Settings and privacy." Look for the "Account privacy" option and tap on it. From here, toggle on the "Private account" setting.
Once your account is private, only approved followers will be able to view your content and account details. Anyone else will only see your username, profile picture, and bio. If someone you don’t want seeing your follower/following list has already followed you, you can manually remove them from your followers by going to your follower list, tapping the three dots next to their name, and selecting "Remove."
While this doesn’t fully hide your followers from people you’ve accepted, it does give you control over who gets access to your profile details.
