How to Change Facebook Name !
0Changing your name on Facebook is a straightforward process that can be done within just a few minutes using the Facebook mobile app. Whether you're updating your name after a legal change, correcting a typo, or simply refining how your name appears, Facebook offers a dedicated section in its Account Center to make the update hassle-free. However, it’s important to note that Facebook only allows name changes once every 60 days, so double-check your spelling and formatting before confirming the change.
To begin, open the Facebook app on your mobile device. Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu icon) located in the top right corner of the screen. Once the menu expands, tap on the gear icon in the top right corner to access your account settings. From here, go to 'Account Center' at the top of the screen.
Inside the Account Center, select the 'Profiles' option at the top. Choose the Facebook profile you want to update. Once selected, tap on the 'Name' option located near the top of the screen. You’ll be directed to a page where you can enter your new first, middle, and last names as desired.
After entering the new name, tap the 'Review Change' button at the bottom of the screen. Facebook will then show you a preview of how your name will appear. You may also be required to enter your account password to confirm the change. Once submitted, your name will be updated across Facebook, and you won’t be able to change it again for 60 days.
