To change your number, first add a new one. Tap on 'Add New Contact,' then select 'Add Mobile Number.' Choose the Instagram account you want to update, then enter your new number and tap 'Next.' Instagram will likely send a one-time verification code to confirm ownership of the new number. Enter the code to finish linking it to your account.
Once the new number is added and verified, you can proceed to remove the old one. Simply tap on the outdated number, select 'Delete Number,' and confirm the action. This ensures your account is only associated with your most current phone number.
