How to Hide or Unhide your Taskbar Automatically on Windows 11 PC (Settings Tutorial)
2In Windows 11, you can easily hide or unhide the taskbar. Let’s walk through the steps:
Hide the Taskbar:
Right-click on the taskbar (or press and hold it).
Choose Taskbar settings.
Alternatively, open Settings (press ⊞ Win + I) and go to Personalization - Taskbar.
In the Taskbar settings window, scroll down to Taskbar behaviors.
Check the box that says “Automatically hide the taskbar”.
The taskbar will now disappear from the bottom of your screen. You’ll see only the desktop and your wallpaper.
This setting is useful when you want an unobstructed view while playing games, browsing the web, or watching videos.
Unhide the Taskbar:
To bring back the taskbar, move your mouse cursor to the bottom edge of the screen.
Right-click on the taskbar again.
Uncheck the “Automatically hide the taskbar” option.
Your taskbar will reappear at the bottom of the screen.
