How to Delete your STEAM Account in Settings (Steam Tutorial)
2To permanently delete your Steam account, follow these steps:
Log in to your Steam account using a web browser.
Navigate to your account settings.
Scroll down until you see the option “Delete my Steam account.”
Click on it to initiate the account deletion process.
Keep in mind the following details:
Proof of Ownership: Steam Support will verify that you are the account owner by requesting comprehensive proof of ownership before proceeding with the deletion.
30-Day Waiting Period: After requesting account deletion, your account will be restricted from making purchases and using community features for 30 days while it is queued for deletion. You’ll receive a reminder at the end of this period.
Irreversible Action: Once Steam Support deletes your account, neither the account nor any associated information can be restored.
Refunds: Deleting your account will not automatically refund any purchases made on it. You can apply for refunds on qualifying purchases before deleting your account.
Steam Wallet: Your Steam wallet balance will no longer be available after account deletion.
CD Keys: Registered CD Keys cannot be reused on a different account.
Account Name: Account names are unique and cannot be reused, even after deletion.
Community Profile: Your Steam community profile, including avatars, screenshots, artwork, and persona history, will be removed.
