So here's the follow-up video to my How to play tutorial, I wanted to upload this so I can be done with the BC2 until future updates or anything else pops out. For now though, enjoy the video and if you wanna play with your friends, remember, you can always do so and even give them reserved slots. 1. Guessing you already have Bad Company 2 and EmulatorNexus by now, head out to the BC2 folder and there should be a ~StartServer.bat, right click it and click on Edit. Now if its not like that, I would like you to make it so :

Frost.Game.Main_Win32_Final.exe -serverInstancePath "Instance/" -mapPack2Enabled 1 -port 19567 -timeStampLogNames -region OC -heartBeatInterval 20000

- - - Note : You will need this http://www.mediafire.com/?wiv5h4nvfc0... in your folder the first time you are starting the server and afterwards, just download and place where the ~StartServer.bat is located in

2. Next up, head out to your /Instance folder where you would find lots of files lying around. What I want you to do is right click every single one of them and uncheck the Read-only option! This is necessary if you want to save your settings so just do it!

3. Open up your ServerOptions.ini and change the settings accordingly to your preferences, just make sure these 2 lines are like so :

PunkBuster=false
Ranked=false or true

4. Head out here http://pastebin.com/nYayNNAjto learn of all the map names and how they should look like for different gamemodes, also to learn which map is compatible with which gamemode.

5. Open up your maplist.txt and enter the desired map rotation. In the example - Isla Innocentes on Rush like me in the video :

RUSH
levels/mp_002gr (gr means Global Rush, while sr means Squad Rush)

and if you want to play it a couple of rounds just enter a number after the gr line, like so :

levels/mp_002gr 2 ( that means 2 rounds, which is default for most Rush servers)

- - - Note : The mapnames and numbers seem to have differences so be wary, they may not all match according to the ones you want. Try them out a few times and if you can, update me with the info

- - Note 2 - - I found out the maplist from a StrategyWiki post on BC2. Even the Vietnam maps are there so enjoy : http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Battlefi... :)

6. Now go to your AdminScripts folder, located in the Instances one (i.e. - Instances/AdminScripts). There you will see a Startup.txt document, right click, properties, uncheck Read Only !

In there, you can customize lots of things like if the server should have hardcore,crosshair, 3d spotting, minimap, etc etc. Edit it as you like and save it.

7.Head back to the Bad Company 2 installation directory where the FrostGameMain is located and this time - run it ! A dedicated server window will open. Now you are ready to play on your own server and people will also see it and since its unranked and punkbuster disabled, they will be able to join it too !

8. Head out to Multiplayer - Server Browser in the game. Sort the servers by ping and the lowest one should be yours, join in and have as much fun as you want, just remember, this is Bad Company, not Call of Duty, the server can get overloaded real fast sometimes since this is also in Beta testing.
