Let's just get this out of the way before any of the real teaching part begins... Your IP MUST be Static and your ports FORWARDED. Do not ask me how to do that, google is your best friend and if he has been cheating on you, use your Internet Providers' technical support, they're there for a reason

1. You will obviously need the game and/or Server Hosting tool at version R32 so if you don't have those, check my past videos on where to get them from but if you do, you will need maseBC2 which you can download off here:

2. *HOSTING* Place the MaseBC2 folder in your Server folder, make sure that it's like in the video or as in this example : \Bad company 2 server\masebc2\
Do NOT extract its contents, just drag and drop the folder in for the Switcher tool to work later on. In the folder, you will find a config.ini, open it and customize its settings to your liking BUT remember to put the external IP of the host (if that's you, then go to http://whatismyip.com/ and use that or if not, tell the host to do it).

3. Put the bfbc2cfg.ini from the DLL folder into the folder with Frost.Game.Main aka the same folder you dropped the masebc2 folder in. Open that up and put the host's external IP address in it as well. After you close it, It is not necessary but you could make it Read-only so it doesn't get changed or deleted randomly. It does that sometimes.


4. If all is done correctly, when you run the Nexus-Mase Switcher, you should be prompted for whether you want to play on Nexus' servers or Mase. For the sake of the tutorial, obviously, pick Mase and it should run a MaseBC2 cmd which will connect to the Plasma and Theater using your IP, as well as the Server tool. Don't forget to set up your server initially using ServerOptions.ini

5. *JOINING* Now go to your Bad Company 2 installation folder and extract the bfbc2cfg.ini in the same folder the BFBC2Game.exe is or just copy it from the server folder with the IP already written in.
(If you aren't the host, you can have him send it to everyone who wants to join over skype or online using a site like Mediafire for example).
Now open up the Nexus-Mase Switcher Rar one more time and this time extract the contents of the Client folder into your BC2 installation folder.

6. Run the Nexus-Mase Switcher Client and pick Mase as an option. If done correctly, the game should run and you should be presented with the start-up screen. Hit the login on the right and create a new user. Make sure you put your age over 18 else it won't accept your account creation.
- - Note - If you get prompted for Key or your "email or password is invalid", then you did something wrong or your bfbc2cfg.ini has disappeared for some reason. Just restart the game before which fixing your issue.

7. Go to the Server Browser, hit Search and your server should pop up. If you got past the login screen, you are all good to go.
