19Today let's talk about How to humanize HI-Hats in Reason
Humanizing Hi-Hats in your composition will keep things interesting and will sound good in the mix
A first way to do it is to play with the velocity inside the player but it will be the same for all bars.
I am going to put back the velocity to 100 per cent and I will send the note into the sequencer
Now I can select the notes at same pitch to select all my Hi Hats and I am opening the probably most underrated feature in reason : the tool window by pressing F8
On the note velocity section I select randomize and add a 24 per cent value then I apply.
