In this tutorial I show how I import 3D objects into the Unreal Tournament Map Editor. I’m not a professional map editor, but this is the method I use for building my own maps – including the one featured in my weapon tutorial series. You’ll see how to prepare objects, apply textures, subtract geometry, add water zones, and set up lighting so your map is ready to test in-game.

00:00 - Intro
00:37 - Showing and planning the map in a 3D editor
01:51 - Split the map into small pieces
02:14 - Choose a texture pack
02:44 - Import 3D object
03:50 - The bridge between the two map areas
04:25 - Line up textures
04:43 - Import the water plane
09:14 - Place a Player Start and lights
10:39 - Add a Water Zone
11:09 - Generate geometry and lighting
11:37 - Look at Zone View
11:57 - Launch the game to test the map
12:14 - Looking at the map in-game
13:43 - Add more lights at the bridge
15:05 - The end and final exploration
